Hi All,
Bridlington and Wolds scale Model club is planning to host its first Model Show, in association with the Driffield Agricultural Society. The show is Planned for 2nd September 2012, in the Market Hall and will be open from 10.00am until 4.00pm. Access to the Market hall will be from 08.00am onwards.
Currently we have got interest with about 20 clubs and special interest groups attending, along with traders in attendance too.
There is loads of free parking and the site is easily accessible from all routes.
Hot and Cold refreshments will be available from about 7.30am onwards until the end of the show.
In addition we will be holding an informal competition, across various subjects Aircraft, Armour, ships, Figures, Diorama's etc, with 1st, 2nd, 3rd place rosettes being given in each catergory, and an overall best Club/SIG stand trophy.
We hope that this will be the first of more shows at Driffield Showground, and we are looking forward to 2014 when a new purpose built Exhibition Hall is due to open offering almost twice the space of the current Hall.
