Hi All,
Just to update you about some new and interesting modelling aids and tools now stocked by our Local Model Shop 'CROPPERS'.
Dave Cropper showed me some new items in his shop, though probably not new to us in modelling terms, but certainly new to this area, which means we can get these items without necessarily having to wait until the next model show or order off the internet.
He now stocks Flexifiles and various replacement bands, touch and glue applicators, sanding sticks. Dave is also stocking items from Albion Alloys, these include various sizes of tubing, rod, in both brass and nickel silver. Also in this range are round sanding sticks ideal for tight to get at places and for opening apertures in kit windows etc.
And for those of you who want to get great smooth surfaces to paint on, smooth out paint finishes or to polish canopies etc, then he now stocks polishing cloth packs complete with sanding pad, in various grades from 2400 to 12000 grit.
I have only touched on what he now stocks to aid us modellers, I suggest you pop in and have a look yourself, you probably will find just the right tool to assist you right on your doorstep. Dave is keen to get 'more in touch' with the plastic kit regime, and is open to suggestions for possible future items. Go and talk to him, give him your support, because he is 'OUR' local model shop, and his range of kits is extensive at good competitive prices, and some bargins to be had from time to time.
