DHC-1 Chipmunk 1/72

Hi All,

Still not got the airliner done, but have managed to finish an Airfix DHC-1 Chipmunk for a work colleague in 9 AEF colours for him.

He actually flew in this aircraft and the serial has been made to match that aircraft and the colour scheme too.

The kit dates back to the 1970's so is very rivet heavy, and clunky in fit, but nothing a bit of wet and dry, filler, and elbow grease could not cure. Enjoyed it a lot, brought back memories of a group of chippies I made a few years back.

Hope the pictures are okay.
