S-3B Viking

Well, I finally fulfilled my new year resolution to start modeling again. I took one of our club members advice and just started gluing things together and very quickly I had something looking like an airplane!

Here are a couple of pictures showing the cockpit assemblies ready for installation into the fuselage...


This is the first time I have used an etched brass set and I have had mixed feelings about it. Some of the parts add to the finish whereas others just didn’t seem to add much more over what was there. I still have more to add to the rest of the aircraft so watch this space.The fuselage halves are together now and I have the wings on, its just a case of sanding the join. More pictures to follow.
